A previously installed release and a newer source candidate are separate states. Do not infer installed identity from the website version label.

What to verify

Read the actual published release, immutable tag, component filenames, sizes and SHA-256 checksums. Compare downloaded bytes before installation. The Download page exposes the source-bound asset list as a reference, not a claim of public availability.

Qualification stages

Source and protocol checks qualify implementation behavior within their scope. Published-asset readback qualifies distribution identity. Installation readback, native activation and operation execution require their own observations.
